The FDP-96 Pedestal can be used for low-density FTTx network applications that do not require high fiber counts in the distribution side, such as low-density rural networks and metro areas deploying fiber closer to customer premises. The stake-less direct bury pedestal design reduces installation costs and eliminates additional vaults associated with pad mount installations

The FDP-96 is a robust and efficient fiber distribution pedestal solution designed for modern FTTH networks. This 96-port PON pedestal integrates nine of our patented U-Series fiber cassettes to manage up to 96 subscriber connections. The modular design typically utilizes one cassette for the incoming feeder fiber and eight cassettes for the distribution fibers. This configuration is ideal for service areas requiring passive optical splitting, such as low-density rural developments, multi-dwelling units (MDUs), and other fiber-deep architectures.

Available with a pre-terminated stub cackle or direct fiber splicing within the internal cassettes, it effectively eliminates the need for additional splice cases and underground vaults. For field technicians, the lift-off cover with guided side rails provides full 360-degree access to the internal fiber distribution panel, ensuring that working with splitter fiber connections is a hassle-free experience.
