The U-Series® Universal Fiber Cassette delivers a space-saving, operator-friendly solution engineered specifically for high-density fiber optic networks. This patented hardware design provides a fully integrated patch and splice solution within a compact, polycarbonate module.

By combining factory-installed fiber pigtails, adapters, and fusion splice sleeves into a single plug-and-play unit, the U-Series simplifies network installation and drastically reduces field termination deployment times.

Key Performance & Maintenance Features

• • Telescoping Access Track: Designed with a patented, bend radius-limiting track on the top cover. This allows the universal fiber cassette to telescope forward from the patch panel chassis, providing simplified, toolless access to adapters and connectors without interrupting active network operations or compromising signal integrity.
  • Industry-First U-Guard Fiber Shield: Equipped with a removable front U-Guard shield that secures and protects front-facing connectors. It isolates and manages subgroups of fiber jumpers independently from adjacent cassettes, preventing cable pinch and organizing high-density cable routing.
  • Hinged-Top Cover & Splicing Storage: Features an accessible hinged-top cover that opens directly to the internal splicing area. The underside of the cover provides protected fiber management storage, while the built-in bend radius-limiting track in the base protects delicate glass from macrobend attenuation.
