The Universal Splitter Cassette provides a variety of fiber optic splitting options in our U-Series cassette. Typically used in FTTx applications requiring passive optical splitting, our cassettes are available in various configurations and can provide numerous fiber optic split ratios, from 1×2 up to 1×32. This versatility allows precise matching to various fiber optic network applications such as Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON).

This compact component securely manages the distribution of a signal from a single incoming fiber optic cable to multiple termination points. Furthermore, the design is based on the patented benefits of our U-Series Fiber Optic Cassette, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality performance.

Simplified Access, Protection, and Patch Cord Management

The splitter cassette is engineered for maximum operational efficiency. This unique design allows the cassette to telescope forward out of the chassis, providing technicians with simplified access to adapters and connectors for maintenance or the installation of new patch cords.

Protection is also paramount. The industry’s first removable front U-Guard secures and protects the front connectors of the internal fiber optic cable. This protective barrier also organizes and manages the sub-group of jumpers, keeping them separated from any adjacent splitter cassettes. This ensures the delicate fiber optic network remains secure, organized, and easy to manage, while simplifying the use of patch cords for equipment connections.
